Match report Ian Ruskin won his first toss of the season and with it we produced our finest batting display this season. Gray and Seeley putting on 77 for the first wicket in 12 overs, Gray was crunching the bowling all around the ground it was a pleasure watching, Seeley was doing a perfect job rotating the strike. After Gray was caught this bought in Potter whose careless and wreckless approach to starting off his innings these days saw him dropped 3 times in 3 overs, he went on to punish the away teams attack hitting 4 maximums in 5 balls before harshly falling lbw for 52. Seeley missed a straight one and Graves was bowled for 10 as Bengeo still at 6 an over 150/4 off 25 overs. Ruskin 38 and C Walker 59 then put on 90 with some very inteligent batting. As usual we lost a load of late wickets as we made 259/7.
After a fine tea Willingale changed their order as some players had to leave early and Guy was rewarded with 3 quick wickets, with Graves taking the other Willingale were 45/4 16 overs. This was a false dawn though as their big hitting bats were still to come, Some poor bowling was smashed all around the ground by Airey as he raced passed 50 marching on to a ton, at the other end Potter 10/2/28/1 put the the roads blocks up and this caused Aireys to hole out for a very quick 99!! After this the game was over as Willingale collapsed to 2165ao with Thrussel taking 3 wickets.
