Match report Bengeo c.c made it 8 wins out of 9 in the league after a fantastic allround display at Essendon on saturday. The win moves Bengeo clear into 3rd position with 4 games left.
After winning the toss and batting first Bengeo racked up 247/6. Dellow 23 and Seeley 8 put on 16 for the first wicket in 9 overs on what looked like a bowling paradise!! Delow and Nix 24 carried the score on to 60 iff 17 overs when Dellow was caught out with some help from the track. Potter 40 and Nix raced the score along for a short while before the track earned Essendon another wicket when a full ball popped up and Nix could do nothing to stop it. Ruskin 42 and Potter put on 76 for the 4th wicket in only 12 overs before once agin the ball popped up to bring Potter's downfull on 42. Ruskin and Bateman 43* carried Bengeo passed 200 before Ruskin holed out for 42, Then Bteman and the Bengeo lower order helped amass an out of target 247.

In reply Essendon were never in it as Dowling carried on his great bowling form by ripping out the top order in his 10 over spell. Well supported by M. Walker and T.Nix. It was left to Bowman to take out the Essendon tail as he ended up with 3-8 off 4 as Bengeo won again...
