Match report After heavy rain all week it was only thanks to the efforts of the Bengeo ground staff that this weekend's fixture was possible.

The afternoon started with a presentation to Club Captian Adam Dowling from new club main sponsor; bedigital.co.uk. MD Karl Baker was quoted; "I'm proud to be associated with one of Hertfordshire's oldest Cricket Clubs & I hope to be involved in many seasons to come".


Club photos were also taken with the Bengeo players wearing their new shirts with the bedigital.co.uk logo emblazened in pink.

Dowling won the toss for the home side and elected to field, a dicision which he hoped to go in his favour on a moist but drying track.

Dowling and Ruskin to open the bowling, with the skies overcat and no prospect of a break with blue sky. The away side started well, attacking the Bengeo openers as so often is seen in HECL games.
